FRIDA’s FIEld, BYRON BAY

Twenty minutes inland from Byron Bay, on a working regenerative farm outside Bangalow, Frida's Field turns 120 acres of pasture and orchard into one of the most photographed backdrops in the Northern Rivers - golden light, towering trees, and a timber reception barn with vaulted ceilings and a recycled-brick fireplace at its heart. It's a restaurant first and a venue second, which shows: the menu changes every six weeks with whatever's ready in the market garden, and the one-hatted kitchen has built a genuine following long before anyone gets married there. Farmland views, honest food, and Byron's hinterland doing the backdrop work - it's rustic, it's refined, and it's unmistakably Frida's.
