Great styling is a feeling as much as a look - the detail that stops a guest mid-step, the touch that makes someone lean over and whisper "that is so them," the small, considered moment that tells your story without a single word.
At The Events Lounge, we begin with you, not a mood board or a colour palette. We want to know where you eat on a Friday night and what your home looks like. We want to know if you have a fur baby, a favourite sports team, a grandmother's recipe that means everything. We want to know who you've lost, and how we might honour them quietly in the details of the day. We want to know your family name and what it means, your favourite animal, the song that reminds you of your person.
Because the best styling doesn't look designed. It looks like you.
Our Styling Process
How we turn your story, your people, your details into a day that feels entirely yours.
step 1: meeting
Every styling journey begins with an in-person session where possible. Before we meet, we ask you to share images of things you love – spaces, fashion, art, interiors, anything that resonates. Then we sit together, walk through the spaces and really get to know each other: your aesthetic, yes, but also your story, your people, the details that make your relationship yours.
step 2: mood board
From there, we create a mood board – because a single image says more than a paragraph ever could – to make sure we're completely aligned before anything else begins..
step 3: design brief
Once you love the direction, we build a detailed design brief covering every element, every personal detail, every supplier and quote needed to bring it all to life. We manage the sourcing, the logistics, the installation and the pack down, so that on your wedding day you arrive to a space that feels like it could only ever have been yours.

A QUieT TRIBUTE
Our bride Steph sadly lost her father before her wedding, and in his honour, we had custom panels made for the DJ booth – a quiet tribute to the musician he was. All night long, he was present in the music.
Sweet theatre
Our bride Jasmine wanted her wedding to feel like an intimate restaurant experience, so dessert became the moment to bring that fully to life. Instead of a traditional cake cutting, their mille-feuille was constructed entirely from scratch in the reception, right in front of everyone, turning dessert into a piece of live theatre.
Maison silvestro
We transformed an entire venue into Maison Silvestro for Christie & Santo– a playful nod to the Italian fashion houses of Milan, honouring the groom's Italian heritage as much as their family name and the love story they'd built together.
