HILLSIDE Carool, tweed Hinterland
Hillside Carool has a bit of a Palm Springs feel to it, dropped into the Tweed Hinterland instead of the desert. The 20-metre lap pool is lined with towering Bangalow palms, all long shadows and retro glamour at golden hour. It's built for micro weddings and intimate ceremonies only - thirty guests at most - so the whole homestead, poolside included, is yours for the weekend. It's private, it's a little bit glamorous, and it feels unmistakably like nowhere else on the coast.
